The placement of the speakers has a great influence on the sound at the listening position. Especially in acoustically imperfect rooms, optimizing the loudspeaker positions is therefore a very effective tool for improving playback quality – and even free of charge, if you can do it yourself. In this workshop, Markus Bertram from mbakustik explains the procedure for optimizing the monitoring geometry in a stereo control room.
